WHAT WE DO
PALLET RECOVERY
BURBAN PALETTES recycles all wood pallets and handling supports. Our business is to recover them, sort them and then repair them to give them a new life in an industrial and logistics sector.
We practise this activity methodically. Here are the different steps:
COMMERCIAL VISIT
With 20 regional branches, we are never far away and can respond within short time frames to any request to recover your stock of pallets.
We always propose an audit visit to accurately assess the quality of the stock proposed.
STOCK AUDIT
On-site, our salesperson studies the technical characteristics of the stock proposed: dimensions, standards, proportion of broken pallets, etc.
A meeting with you, the supplier, allows us to draw up the conditions for removing the stock.
Based on this audit, our sales team writes a reconditioning proposal taking into account the technical and operational means to be implemented
COLLECTION
Our logistics division organises the collection of the pallets according to the defined schedule.
Different collection methods are possible: van, flatbed, semi-trailer flatbed.
When unloading at our sorting platforms, the pallets are identified by origin and batch
Recycling: BURBAN PALETTES adds value to pallet recovery by sorting them and repairing them at one of our 20 regional platforms.
SORTING
After our drivers have collected your pallets, they are unloaded at the sorting zone. Once the batch number references have been recorded, our sorters direct the pallets in good condition to our storage zone. Broken pallets are directed to the repair workshop. Any that cannot be recovered are directed to the crusher and will be transformed into wood-based energy.
We have about 100 models of standard pallets. For non-standard models, our sorters measure the pallets one by one before determining their storage zone.
Assisted sorting: A large number of our sites are fitted with assisted or semi-assisted sorting.
REPAIR
Broken pallets are repaired in the workshops in our regional platforms.
The operator inspects the pallet to determine which elements need to be changed (boards or blocks). Faulty parts are replaced. The offcuts are crushed to be transformed into wood-based energy.
When more than four elements are faulty, excluding the stringers, the entire pallet is dismantled or crushed.
Repaired pallets then join the storage zone ready for dispatch.
STORAGE
Our 20 regional platforms have a permanent stock of used pallets in good condition, or new pallets, which can be delivered to customers according to a defined schedule.
Our catalogue has around 100 models adapted to the requirements of a multitude of industrial sectors.

BURBAN PALETTES also proposes cardboard pallets which save considerable weight for transport. This also optimises the transport of goods in layers (stacking).
Their full board provides stability for the goods transported and reduces the carbon footprint of transport due to being light in weight.
Plastic pallets offer guarantees of hygiene and stability over time.
